The 40,000-seat Al Thumama Stadium will host 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™ matches up to the quarter-final stages, showcasing Arab culture to fans across the globe.

The venue's unique design, based on the traditional gahfiya cap, won the prestigious MIPIM / Architectural Review Future Project Award in May 2018.

The venue's foundations are almost done and much of the below-ground work is nearing completion. Now we are making rapid progress above ground, including on one of the stands where fans will watch the action from in 2022.
