Qatar Stars League
Qatar Stars League (QSL) was set up in 2008 by the Qatar Football Association (QFA) to lead the enhancement of professional football in Qatar. The QSL is responsible for managing all commercial, broadcast, marketing, ticketing and administrational matters relating to the league and its 14 member clubs.
Along with the domestic league competition, the QSL also runs the Qatar Cup tournament which is played by the top four first division teams at the end of the season. The teams also participate in the QFA-organised tournaments of the Sheikh Jassim Cup and the Amir Cup.
QSL's mission is to continuously improve the 14 QSL member clubs whilst at the same time increasing and diversifying the fan-base within the country.
